The DTS is split into two sections; the Study Phase, and the Outreach Phase.

The costs for each section are:

• Study Phase £1575
• Outreach Phase £1000 to £1900 (guideline costs)
• There is also a £25 registration fee that is payable with your application.

These fees cover all your living expenses for the five months of the DTS. The cost of Outreach Phase varies depending on the location as it includes travel, visa, vaccination, insurance costs, food and accommodation. We always aim to keep outreach costs as low as possible but the figures above should be taken as a guideline.

You will need some spending money too; for shampoo, tooth paste, chocolate, souveniers etc. But apart form that everything is covered by the fees.

There is a £200 deposit that is required when your application is approved in order to reserve your place on the school. By deposit we mean that it is non-refundable but counts as part of the £1575 payment for the Study Phase.
